Hey Weirdos! Miss me?
Whew! It's been a LONG time since I was able to get a decent book review to you guys. The last couple have been ridiculous. Disgusting. Horrendous.
Insert your own awful adjective.
But I'm not here to review those all over again. I'm here to review a truly great book by an equally great author! We've all been waiting for this one for awhile (myself included!) and I'm happy to say that I FINALLY finished reading Strange and Ever after!
I liked the character of Daniel Sheridan from the first page, and that never ended. As heartbreaking and completely depressing as the final pages of the book were for him, it was the only rational and good way for the series to end. To often I feel like stories end with Happily Ever After, and it's become expected for things to work out perfectly. Susan broke free of that mold. She dared to be different.
For a more detailed account, purchase this book for yourself. Heck, get the whole series, and then look into her new series, Truthwitch, which is currently waiting for me to read as well, and I can't wait to start!
I'm giving Strange and Ever After 4 stars out of 5. Well written and captivating!
That's all for now. Stay weird, my lovelies!
