Woot Woot! The "A Day in the Life" series has started! I'm super excited, are you? Either way, I thought it would be fun to start out by giving you a unique tour of my household, through the eyes of the Divergent Faction System.
Let's face it: If the faction system was real, I wouldn't have a family. We're all so incredibly different that sometimes I worry we will either have mental breakdowns, or my mom will live up to her threat and run away. (That's a joke)
But let's start with Stark, shall we? For those of you who missed, Stark is my Dad. He reminds me of Iron Man, so that is what I call him. He is, without a doubt, Erudite. Like anyone, he has some amount of other factions in there, but I hold firm on the belief that he's a born Erudite. He is easily the smartest person I know, and can tell you anything you could possibly want to know about American history. There's no way he could do a single problem in my Algebra 2 book, but that's understandable.
My sister (oh dear, what shall we call her?) is probably the hardest. I know she's smart, but she doesn't really care. She's a big fat liar, so she's certainly not Candor. She's not Abnegation, because she's a selfish brat, and I can't really say she's very Amity either. So...that leaves Dauntless. She is very shy around strangers, but otherwise she is very Dauntless. Or if all else fails, she could be Factionless as well (Sorry sis. The truth hurts).
Last, but certainly not least, is Yours Truly (me). My test results aren't actually to surprising, and you can see them at the top of the page. I am Amity, Dauntless next, and then Erudite. I believe this is correct. I try to be nice to everyone, and while I have a little bit of rebellious hostility in me, I would rather remain peaceful more than anything. In fact, I have a wall decoration in my bedroom that says "do everything with kindness" that I got before I had even heard of the Divergent series!
I'm actually surprised that my Erudite didn't test higher because I consider myself a fairly intelligent person, and I test high in all of my classes. What I do find interesting is that my top two factions are probably as opposite as one could expect. If you remember though, I am an Ambivert, which means I'm split almost equally between introvert and extrovert tendencies. This could explain it, although my extrovert tendencies are a bit stronger in real life.
I'd love to hear what you think, and what your results are! Please hit that "like" or "tweet" button below; it really helps!
As always, stay weird!
